MTN Ghana has launched the Eazifon fixed wireless phone as an alternative to the traditional landline fixed phone for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
MTN Eazifon is the latest addition to MTN Business’ existing portfolio of services. MTN Eazifon is a fixed wireless/portable phone that is easy to set up with no hassle. MTN Eazifon can easily serve as either a Pay-As-You-Go or a pay monthly phone for the SMEs and individuals who need a phone at home, a small office or in a shop.
MTN Eazifon is available in Eazifon plus with extensions, Eazifon corded and Eazifon cordless options.
Eazifon plusconsists of a master base handset with up to four extensions that can connect to it at the same time. It boasts features such as call forwarding, call waiting, caller ID display, contact storage etc. MTN says the product will go a long way to meeting the fixed line needs of small businesses and small corporate offices who can relocate at any time with their Eazifons on the go.
Eazifon corded works like the Eazifon Plus but does not provide extensions.This is a wireless phone that uses a SIM card and has a 2.4 inch display and although being a desk phone, has capabilities just like a mobile handset; i.e. SMS, Call Forwarding, Call waiting, Call barring etc. The handset has a phonebook that can take up to 4000 contacts, customize ringtones for contacts and can save up a 1000 SMS
Eazifon cordless works like the Eazifon Plus but does not provide extensions. It has functionalities such as Caller number identification presentation, Call forwarding, Call waiting, Call holding, Call barring, three-way calling and conference call.
For a fixed monthly fee, the Eazifon device offers customers a bundled package with monthly free talk time, free SMS, free calls within a closed user group, lower tariff and many more fantastic features. Just like the regular mobile phone, users can top up their Eazifon with prepaid airtime.
