Walking in honesty, truth and & Integrity |
I realized this truth on December 16, 2013 whiles reading the book "Walking in honesty, truth and & Integrity By Kenneth Copeland." This really confirms this scripture in John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
This is because I the know the truth that it is wrong for me to dishonour my politicians whether they are right or wrong in what ever decision they take. I am indeed free.
Please remember this applies to everyone around us. You do not have the right to dishonour someone because he is not treating you right. Remember Matthew 5:39-41
39 But I
tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek,
turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take
your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one
mile, go with them two miles.
Jesus was
not preaching weakness; he was talking about meekness. Such Scriptures are not
referring to being weak. They are referring to us being submitted to God and
committed to doing what He says, whether it looks good to us or not. That is
doing the honourable thing. We must learn to put aside our own feelings and
human reasoning's and just be obedient to the Lord.
