Nigeria: Tecno Mobile to launch $30 smartphone in 2015

Tecno mobile is set to launch a low-cost mobile device during the course of 2015. According to the mobile device manufacturer, the device is expected to retail for $30 USD.

While no date has been given for the launch of the device, Arif Choudhary, VP of Tecno Group, stated that: “Tecno Mobile has tried to bring budget smartphones and data phones to Africa. Every month in Nigeria, it can shift 1.3 million to 1.5 million devices.”
