Allowances are to be paid without any further delay - Acting Executive Director

Accra, Ghana – Friday, 21st November, 2014.

The National Executive Committee of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) says that all 2013/2014 national service personnel who were not paid their July and August, 2014 allowances following the special headcount exercise can now receive their outstanding allowances.

A statement issued and signed by the National President of NASPA Mr. Ekow Vincent Assafuah Jnr, says the Executive Committee has received assurance from the Acting Executive Director of the Scheme, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, that directives have been issued to regional directors of the Scheme to ensure that July and August, 2014 allowances are paid without any further delay.

The statement urged all concerned national service personnel to go to their respective districts and go through the payment formalities.

NASPA also commend all 2013/2014 service personnel for their patience and co-operation.
